Squirrel's First Winter

Squirrel's First Winter, was a College book project.  The book was illustrated by me and written by my friend Brandon Grace.  It was our first time making a children's book together.  I had decided to challenge myself at this time do the pages all traditionally and eventually scan them to make the digital pages.  This was all done based on Brandon's vision for the book,  The story is about a squirrel preparing for winter and helping his friends prepare as well.  This children's book uses some subtle elements from New Foundland and Labrador, as Brandon often visits family there.  Down below are some of the drafts and final layouts.
